With a population of 73 million people, Turkey has the largest youth population compared with the EU, with a median age 28.8 and 60 percent of the population under the age of 35. Turkey has a labor productivity with an annual average growth of 4.4 percent between 2002 and 2009. A dynamic and mature private sector with USD 102 billion worth of exports and an increase of 183 percent between 2002 and 2009, it has a strong industrial and service culture, with more than 23,000 companies with international capital.

Companies investing in the dynamic Turkish markets need to be well aware of the local legal environment. Our Legal Partner has many years of experience advising international companies ($500M+) with proven and consistent success.

Making the Buck without Making the Fuss

DigitalTonto has made a blog entry about 4 Unlikely Digital Heroes which is an interesting read (and I am not saying this just because our company is featured in it!). The post reviews 4 companies that are quietly making huge steps in digital, also giving credit to the 2010 ICMA Classified Media Innovation Award which Vaibmu Ltd. has created for the International Classified Media Association and which pays tribute to companies in the classified media space who are innovating. As we noted in a previous entry and in our report with all the finalists ideas and projects, a lot of great product and strategy development is coming from traditional print publishers in digital media worldwide.

If you have a few minutes, be sure to read his insight about Time Warner, Condé Nast and Naspers as well as the Polish analytics company Gemius.

New Vaibmu website!

Thursday, March 25th, 2010

Freshly revamped corporate site is open!

We have made a new website using our original logo and keeping the same color palette and font family that we started out with in early 2010. The new website is more interactive and has more differentiated and engaging layouts and graphics, which were lacking in the previous “bare bones” version which we put together ourselves using a free wordpress theme.

We hope you will find the new structure as easy to use and navigate as we do and we also hope you will join our social communities via our Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin pages, where you will be able to follow Vaibmu’s new initiatives. Credit goes to Cameron Sweeney, who is a graphic artist and web designer located in Tasmania, Australia, for the layout.

We look forward to your feedback on the new design and layouts, as well as on the content structure.

Let us know what you think dropping an e-mail at info (at) vaibmu.com
